Banos - Waterfalls and hot springs

After the Galápagos we spent three days in Banos. Beautiful valley nestled beneath a volcano

Over 10 waterfalls in the area, we took a tour which visited half a dozen of them. The most impressive was Palion de Diablo (Devils Cauldron)

Most of the waterfalls had zip lines across the canyons - we were happy to watch

also lots of hot springs pools. We visited them every day and also fit in massages at the local spa $30 for an hour massage with volcanic hot rocks

lively nightlife as this is a backpackers haven. How could we resist a night out at the 'leprechaun salsateca'
